Dr. John Reimers has made continuing education one of the cornerstones of his dental practice philosophy and has completed over 2,500 hours since earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. In 1985, he became a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. This distinction requires five years of membership in the Academy and includes passing a stringent exam. Dr. Reimers went on to become a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry in 1997, which is the highest distinction a member can achieve. The Mastership requires hands-on study in 16 dental disciplines totaling 600 hours of continuing education. Dr. Reimers is also a member of some of the most respected organizations in his field, including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association and American Orthodontic Society.
